Our Mission

We believe that innovation and technology should be used to create positive impact for people.

We want to make humans faster, more productive and less prone to errors – whatever their tasks might be.

In early 2019, we founded Nomitri to turn first academic research in the emergent field of embedded deep-learning vision AI into tangible industry product development. We believe that products built on this technology can fulfill the promise of AI: It enhances human performance and productivity while being privacy preserving at the same time. This is particularly important in the computer vision field, where sensitive visual data is used. This is the reason we focus on this technology.
We believe that technology can create real positive impact for people. We also believe that good products are simple – even if they use cutting-edge technology.

This is Nomitri

We are a Berlin-based deep-tech company founded in 2019 backed by highly reputed VCs and Business Angels. Our engineering team combines experienced experts in the fields of Deep Learning, Embedded Computer Vision and Mobile and Backend development, supported by equally experienced DevOps and Network admin experts. We currently have three PhDs on the team with a strong publication record in Deep Learning and Computer Vision and our technical team members have an average experience of >8 years.

In addition to experience, our team has a passion for operations, efficiency and entrepreneurship. Trinh, our CEO and co-founder, brings in more than 10 years of industry experience in Retail and Operations while Max, our CTO and co-founder, was heavily involved in industrial software development for autonomous systems before founding Nomitri. More than one third of our team have founded companies of their own before joining Nomitri.

The Founders

Trinh and Max have founded Nomitri in 2019 with three friends. They complement each other perfectly in their skills and experiences. Trinh is a Harvard-educated strategist and sales executive while Max, as a seasoned IT project manager and industry software developer, is the overall architect of our technology and products.

We want to bring the brightest and most innovative minds together to solve some of the biggest technical challenges. Hence, nationalities or different locations are no obstacles for us. Having 10 nations represented within our small team, we could not live without having an open mind and love for international food. 

Here at Nomitri we value work life balance! This is why we organise game nights – if the weather allows we compete in exciting volleyball games on the beach volleyball field nearby or we discover the newest online games in a laid-back after-work atmosphere.
